Ecommerce
BluBeez strives to make it simple to add commerce capabilities to your site whilst still providing the more advanced features for those that require them. The following commerce systems come built into your site and are managesd via the
Ecommerce module in the website administration tools.
Simple Paypal Shop (bluSite and bluCommerce Package). Adds paypal buttons to product catalogues.
Online shop (bluCommerce Package). Adds a shopping cart with user registration, shipping options and multiple payment methods to your selected product catalogues.
Online shop

When you have the Online Shop enabled new links will be added to your website allowing users to register, log in and manage their shopping carts and address details.
Set catalogues

To enable shopping on your catalogues click on Set catalogues in the Ecommerce module. Choose the catalogues you wish to enable the shopping cart on and click save. The selected catalogues will now be populated with shipping information and purchase buttons.
Payment methods

Click
pPayment methods to define the payment options you want to provide your users. You can define multiple methods and allow the user to choose amongst them. For Offline methods ensure you enter enough information for the user to complete payment. For example an address to mail a cheque to or BSB details for a bank transfer.
For paypal payment options make sure you go into the Paypal Settings screen and enter your paypal account email address.If you do not yet have a paypal account

Shipping options

Click
Shipping Options in the Ecommerce module to define your settings for shipping. Leave fields blank if no separate shipping charge is required for your shop.
The shipping charge can be set per product or by number of products or a combination of both. Simple select
Item Specific and add individual shipping charges to each product in your catalogue and/or enter a shipping charge for the first item plus a charge for each extra item.
Also enter a title and description for your Shipping method so it can be displayed to the user during the checkout process.
Please note: it is good practice to add a Shipping page to your website detailing your shipping method, areas and charges.
Accounts

To view the account details for your website customers click
Accounts. You can search for a particular account or click
Orders

To view the orders submitted by your customers click
Orders in the Ecommerce module or click
Check my Orders shortcut icon on the Website Admin Home Page.
You can search for orders by order status, customer email address and/or order date.
Manage Inventory
The Inventory control tool (not available in all packages) allows you to set inventory levels on products which are then updated on the fulfilment of each order allowing you to track your inventory levels.
To use the tool click the Manage Inventory tool, select a product, enter the inventory details and click save.
You can then check your inventory levels by visiting the Manage inventory page. Also you can export this data to csv (excel readable) file by clicking export.
Paypal Payments

To enable a Paypal shop on your catalogues or offer Paypal as a payment option on your online shop click on the
Paypal Payments link.
Enter the email address you have configured for your paypal account. If you do not yet have a paypal account
click here to sign up for an account.

You can control the display of shipping instructions, optional instructions and settting a paypal template via the options.
If you have the bluCommerce package and are offering paypal as a payment option you are now configured and ready to s start accepting orders and payments.
If you are implementing the Simple Paypal shop choose whether to enable Buy now buttons (user clicks and purchase one item at time) or Paypal Shopping cart (paypal shopping cart pops up and allows quantity and multiple items.)
When using the Simple Paypal shop the order and payment information will be sent via email to your configured paypal email address.
Eway Credit Card Payments
To configure your site to accept credit cards for processing via the Eway payment gateway.
Contact Eway (
http://www.eway.com.au/) and sign up for Credit Card gateway package with your merchant id details (from your bank).
Eway will supply your with an Eway contact id which you can past into the Eway CC Payments page in the ecommerce module.
Then go to the Payment Methods link and add a new payment method of type eway.
Users will be offered a new payment method where they can pay directly via credit card.
Please Note: The Eway Credit card processor should be used in conjunction with a SSL certificate in order to protect users details. Please contact support for assistance in purchasing and configuring your certificate.
