Setup Wizard

To help you get started with your site a setup wizard will pop up the first time you log on. The wizard has a few simple steps to set up your site and start populating your content. All of the choices you make and content you enter during the wizard can be easily changed again.
You can skip the wizard by clicking skip, and can revisit the wizard by clicking the Set Up Wizard icon on the website administration home page.

Start

Welcome to the set up wizard.
In the wizard you can follow through step by step or you can jump straight to any section by clicking on the menu links.
If you would like to skip the wizard at any time simply click the Skip function.

Design

Choose a starting point for the look and feel of your website by choosing a design (mouse over the thumbnails for larger images) and clicking save. Later on you can adjust various aspects of your design such as fonts, colours and site images. For more advanced users you can also edit and replace site furniture imagery (backgrounds, textures etc) and even download and edit the website stylesheet(CSS).

Examples

Rather than build your site tree and pages from scratch you can choose an example site to load sample pages and content into your site. Then you can simply go in and edit the content to match your needs.
Please note: Sample content is intended as an aid to creating your site and using the site management tools not as final content for your site.

Logo

Upload your logo by browsing to a local image file and clicking save. Your logo will be added to your website. To perfect the look you may want to adjust your logo images size and colors to fit your chosen site colors.

Details

Enter your contact email address, site name and copyright notice and click save. The site name and copyright notice will be added to your website. The contact email address is the recipient for feedback from the contact us form and forms built with the form maker tool.

SEO

To assist with optimising your website for search engines enter relevant site keywords, description and title text. These will be added to your website and can be fine tuned on a page by page basis.

Finish

Congratulations you have finished the set up wizard. Click Finish to close the set up wizard. To continue building your site enter the Manage My Site module and click homepage. Take a moment to browse the other website admin modules (Newsletters, Ecommerce, System Settings) and become familiar with the tools available to manage and enhance your website.
